Our Junior Academy is designed for new and developing athletes ages 4–13, creating an exciting space where kids can learn the FUNdamentals of basketball in a supportive and active environment.
Ages 4–6: Building Confidence Through FUNdamentals
Our youngest ballers take part in weekly “Pass, Catch & Shoot” sessions—three simple skills that form the foundation of basketball (and many other sports). With hoops lowered to the perfect height and coaches focused on encouragement, players build confidence, coordination, and a genuine love for the game.
Ages 7–13: Taking the Next Step
As kids grow, so does the game. Players in this group continue to sharpen their passing, catching, and shooting, while also being introduced to teamwork, spacing, and game play concepts. The focus remains on building confidence and strong habits in a fun, high-energy environment.
Cost
The cost for 8 week session is $230.00 + 3.5 Processing Fee

The Northern Kings Junior Academy is our program for new and developing players aged 7 to 13, helping young ballers learn the FUNdamentals of the game in an active and friendly environment.
Players ages 7-13 will participate in our "NK Jr Academy House League". This program is a great starting point for beginners, helpful for developing talent, and a bonus for enthusiastic players. Using a mix of skills and friendly competitive drills, we'll turn your child's interest in the game into a passion for the sport.
The NK Jr Academy is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve, and in the lives of the children and families in our program. We believe that providing our youngest athletes with a solid foundation of skills, knowledge, and teamwork will foster the development of valuable life skills that can be carried forward as they GROW and MATURE.
